    Q. Will I get charged VAT tax on my order?

    If the order is shipping outside of The Bahamas, then there is no VAT tax. If the order is shipping within the Bahamas, then the order will be subjected to a tax of 12% automatically during your check-out.


    Q. What does Instagopher sell?

    Instagopher is working towards becoming the leading online grocery and liquor store in The Bahamas. We sell most of the items that you would find at any Grocey or Liquor Store. We have most of the popular brands that you are use too drinking and eating that are in the Bahamas.....The only items that we don't carry are tobacco items.(Tobacco items are considered to be restricted items by our online processors)


    Q. How does your service work?

    You shop online. We deliver at the time that you select. At Instagopher you can shop, place your order and pay for your Grocery & Liquor items all online.


    Q. Is there a minimum order?

    Yes. There is a $75 minimum order requirement.


    Q. Do I have to create an account to place an order?

    No. At this current time you don't have to create an account to place an order, you can check out as a guest. Although, you wont be able to earn credit on your purchases. Also, you will have to provide your information before your order can be processed. E.G Name, Home, Company, Hotel, residence, where your yacht is docked. This information is so that we know how to make the delivery of your order.


    Q. How do I pay for my order?

    To make the payment process as easy and safe for you, we offer all major Credit Cards and Debit Cards. We have many different types of payment gate ways, e.g. PayPal, Visa Cards, American Express Cards, Discover Cards And  Master Cards (Our processers charge 4.99% processing fee at checkout) or Cash On Delivery (For same day deliveries only).


    Q. How do you ensure that my financial information is secure?

    i.At Instagopher, we want you to feel safe while shopping with us. Yes, your security is our #1 priority. We protect your data with the same military-grade security and encryption that the big banks use. If in any case while using our websites any of your information is compromised you will be secured up to $500,000.00 on each website and collectively $1,500,000.00

    ii.We provide Norton Shopping Guarantee Free to all of our customers.


    Q. When can I request to have my order delivered & What are your delivery fees?

    We have four delivery options to choose from: 

    Advanced Delivery - $7.99 (The time & date that you select can be a 3 to 30 days in advance of your trip.)

    Next Day Delivery - $9.99 (The time that you select must be 24 hours after ordering.)

  •  Q. Where are the locations that you deliver to?

    Delivery Locations: We Deliver to the entire island of Nassau & Paradise Island.

     This includes delivery to private homes, Corporate offices, Yachts & the docks for family islands


    Q. Can I waive the REQUIRED adult signature on my package?

    We know that sometimes it can be quite inconvenient to stay at home to sign for your package but our company laws & regulations require an adult signature at the time of delivery from an adult at the actual shipping address. Sorry but your neighbor cannot sign for the package. There are no exceptions. These measures are very important in making sure no minor is exposed to contents they should not have in there possession or none of your items are removed of the packages without the consent of the person that placed the order. If an adult is not available to sign for the package at the shipping address, we will make another attempt to deliver. After the the second attempt, the package will be returned back to our warehouse. Then a subsequent fee will be applied to have your personal shopper come out again.


  • Q. My credit card keeps declining, what can be the problem?

    Three major reason could be causing this problem:

    1) Please confirm your billing address is correct.

    2) The credit card company recently put a fraud detection security on your card. (They do this sometimes if you have not told them that you are travelling) In this case, please call your credit card company to lift the hold.

    3) The credit card has reached its credit limit.

    4) You may have entered the information in wrong, please double check.

    Please contact us if the problem still persists.


    Q. How can I return my products?

    Returns are simple. Just contact us and we will send your personal shopper to pick up the items you would like to return, but we must receive the items in there original condition. Also your request to return an item must be no less than 48 hours after you received your item.



    Q. Can you hold the shipment till a specific date?

    Yes, customers can input the shipping date and also add a note in the Comment Box with instructions during the check-out process. We can usually hold an order when placed in advance for up to 6 weeks.(All of your items will be fresh when delivered guaranteed)


    Q. Can you guarantee the order by a specific date? 

    Yes we can guarantee a specific date and time for delivery, once all directions and contact information has been clearly provided. 


    Q. What is the status of my order?

    It’s very easy to get a status of your order and its quick. You can simply provide your name shipping address and order number to one of our customer support staff and they can look into it for you. This process should take no longer than 5 to 10 mins.


    Q. If I ship an order as a gift, can I add a note and will the recipient receive a invoice in the box?

    We include all gift notes free of charge. Once the gift order is shipped the recipient will receive an invoice without any prices listed. The invoice will only have the senders name(We can leave out at your request), address, and the gift note. Prices with the invoices are never included in side of gift orders. Although as the purchasing customers you will receive an invoice with the prices listed via email.


    Q. Can I place a corporate/bulk order?

    Yes you can. Corporate orders are not a problem at all.


    Q. Are all orders automatically insured?

    Yes, your entire order is secured and protected with Norton Shopping Guarantee, which is provided free of charge to you. We insure all our orders at no extra cost to ensure our customers feel safe. Who said piece of mind costs a lot.


    Q. What are your store hours?

    At the moment it is 10 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday - Sundays: Closed.

    ***Please note - Although we're closed on Sunday if you order in advanced we will deliver your order on Sunday.
